OpenAI is reported to be close to finalizing a $40 billion financing led by SoftBank

OpenAI is close to finalizing a $40 billion round led by SoftBank and backed by Magnetar Capital, Coatue Management, Founders Fund and Altimeter Capital Management. The deal would value the company at $300 billion.
