Galaxy cryptocurrency researcher Christine Kim believes that the likelihood of splitting into two separate upgrades (Prague and Electra) is "high" due to the complexity of the current Pectra fork and the increased need for upgrades. Christine Kim previously concluded the 196th Ethereum Core Developer Conference (ACDE) by saying that Ethereum developers are seriously considering splitting the Pectra upgrade into two upgrades. In addition, Christine Kim added that if the developers decide to split the Pectra upgrade into two hard forks, the scope could change dramatically.
