Jito Initiates Proposal to Transfer Deployed Protocol Instances to JitoDAO Management in Three Phases
According to official news, Jito, the Solana Eco-Pledging Project, has launched an important improvement proposal aimed at the phased deployment of the Jito Re-Pledging Protocol module. According to the content of the proposal, the Jito Foundation plans to transfer the deployed protocol instances to JitoDAO management in three phases: Migration phase: Allows users to migrate assets to the VaultRestakeToken (VRT) vault. Pledging phase: Enables the Node Consensus Network (NCN) to launch and implement most of the core functions of the protocol. Forfeiture phase: Gives NCN the ability to activate the forfeiture mechanism. The proposal also introduces a new fee mechanism. During the deposit phase, the protocol will charge a fee of 10 basis points for vault withdrawals. After the pledge phase is launched, the rewards paid by NCN will be charged a 4% protocol fee. These fees will go directly into JitoDAO's treasury to fund its continued development. The Jito team said the improvement will shift JitoDAO's focus from focusing primarily on liquidity staking token (LST) governance to the broader Jito network ecosystem.
