Former executives of Pacific Investment Management and Millennium founded crypto consulting firm x2B
On November 11, according to Bloomberg, former executives of Millennium Management LLC and Pacific Investment Management Company (Pimco) are launching consulting businesses in the digital asset space. Benoit Bosc, a former portfolio manager at Millennium, and Michael Bressler, who recently served as executive vice president of Pimco, left in October and August, respectively, to start x2B, a digital asset consulting firm. The company will launch in November and currently has 10 clients. The company will charge based on the mix of tokens and cash in the future of the project.
The company will provide consulting services for crypto projects including fundraising, token offerings, financial management and market making arrangements. Bosc previously served as the US general manager at digital asset market maker GSR, while Bressler served as the global head of sales at the company for a year and a half. "In the intersection of high-level traditional finance and digital finance, very few people understand the complex dynamics of token offerings," Bressler said in an interview. Bosc said the industry would benefit from a "more professional and transparent approach," adding that the x2B initiative pushes for "more accountability from the various market players and service providers involved in these offerings."
