BlackRock's asset management reached a record $11.60 trillion

BlackRock (BLK. N), the world's largest asset manager, reported on Wednesday that fourth-quarter corporate profits jumped 21 percent, as the stock market boom boosted commission revenue and its assets under management hit a record high of $11.60 trillion. Its assets in the same period last year and in the third quarter were 10.01 trillion and 11.48 trillion, respectively. BlackRock's fourth-quarter long-term net inflows were $201 billion. Overall net inflows reached $281.4 billion, up from $95.6 billion in the same period last year. (Golden Ten)
