GameStop shares rose nearly 10% on rumors of bitcoin adoption.
After GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen posted a photo with Strategy (former MicroStrategy) co-founder Michael Saylor on social platform X, GameStop (GME) shares rose sharply on February 10. As of press time, GME shares were reported at $27.12, an increase of 9.66%.
Although Cohen did not disclose the details of the meeting, there is widespread speculation in the market that GameStop may plan to adopt bitcoin-related businesses.
