Grey release survey: US voters growing interest in bitcoin
Grey release commissioned The Harris Poll to conduct a survey of voters in the 2024 US Presidential Election. The latest longitudinal survey data from Phase 2 (conducted April 0-May 2, 2024) reinforces the results of Phase 1 and highlights that American voters have maintained many of the same priorities and attitudes since Phase 1 was conducted November 27-29, 2023. However, there have been some notable shifts in interest and perceptions around owning cryptocurrencies and how voters perceive them in the political context - two topics that are becoming increasingly important ahead of the 2024 US election. The latest survey shows that due to macro dynamics and the maturity of bitcoin itself, its correlation is increasing, with nearly half of voters (47%) now expecting to include cryptocurrencies in their portfolios (compared to just 40% at the end of last year).
