Cryptocurrency venture capital firms Paradigm, Polychain Capital, Multicoin Capital, Haun Ventures and Blockchain Capital all saw higher asset valuations in 2023 than the year before. Polychain Capital's fund nearly doubled in value, from $2.61 billion the year before to $5.04 billion in 2023. Blockchain Capital, which announced in September 2023 that it had raised an additional $580 million for more cryptocurrency investments, said the value of its assets under management increased from nearly $1.74 billion to $2.36 billion. Other companies with smaller increases include Paradigm, whose fund is worth more than $10 billion; Haun Ventures, whose asset valuation is more than $1.50 billion; and Andreessen Horowitz, whose massive fund counts cryptocurrencies as one of its investments and is worth $56 billion by the end of 2023.
