Venezuela's state-owned telecommunications and internet service providers cut off users including Binance, Signal and others
According to local media reports, state-owned telecom and internet service provider (ISP) CANTV has blocked access to the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance. The measure, which could affect thousands of people, is part of a series of blocking measures against other services, including Mercado Libre, Signal, Reddit and other similar services.
Binance responded, saying in an email to Venezuelan customers that "like many corporate websites in different sectors in Venezuela, including social networks, the Binance page faces access restrictions".
