Mr. Trump told Mr. Musk: "If something horrible happens with this election, then our next meeting will be in Venezuela because it will be a much safer place to meet than our country." Trump has long claimed that Venezuela is releasing violent criminals from its prisons and sending them to the United States as illegal immigrants, thereby reducing the crime rate in its own country.
