194th Ethereum ACDE Conference: Aim to launch Pectra Devnet 3 with EIP 7702 update within two weeks
On August 16th, Christine Kim, vice president of research at Galaxy, summarized the 194th Ethereum Core Developer Execution (ACDE) conference call. This week, developers said that Pectra Devnet 2 is stable, but there are issues on the information page involving merging block generator specifications. There are also issues with Teku/Erigon nodes and Prysm client side, which are still being tested. Prysm developer Potuz introduced EIP 7732, a formal proposal to achieve the separation of proponents and builders on Ethereum. The developers aim to launch Pectra Devnet 3 with the EIP 7702 update specification within two weeks. If all goes according to plan, developers plan to add EOF in Pectra Devnet 4 at a later date.
