eOracle questions CoinDesk's "biased stance and insufficient evidence" in its report on Eigen Labs
On August 19, Matan Sibon, founder of the Eigen Layer ecosystem project eOracle, questioned CoinDesk's recent report on Eigen Labs.
Matan said that last week, CoinDesk's deputy editor Sam Kessler sent him an interview invitation to complete an article on re-staking technology, but in the interview Sam has been on the topic of "whether the Eigen Labs team has pressured the ecological project to airdrop tokens to them", although Matan has repeatedly given negative answers and said that based on his personal knowledge of the same ecological project, Altlayer, Renzo, Ether.fi and other projects are unlikely to feel "pressured", but these replies did not appear in the CoinDesk report.
Mr. Matan added that it was one thing to expose a conflict of interest, another to accuse a team of abusing its power to pressure other projects in the ecosystem for "profit", and that CoinDesk would be better off retracting the story or providing evidence. Previously, CoinDesk reported that Eigen Labs employees distributed their wallet addresses to eco-projects to "profit" through airdrops.
Eigen Layer responded by saying that there is no evidence that any EigenLabs employee pressured any team in an inappropriate manner to benefit the Eigen Labs corporate entity or its employees.
