Cryptocurrency startup Sorella Labs completes $7.50 million seed round
Cryptocurrency startup Sorella Labs completed a $7.50 million seed round led by Paradigm, with participation from Uniswap Ventures, Bankless Ventures, Robot Ventures and Nascent.
Ludwig Thouvenin, co-founder and CEO of the startup, said the company is building tools to solve Ethereum's MEV problem at the application layer. MEV refers to validators or bots that make profits by reordering, inserting, or reviewing transactions within blocks. To help prevent such MEV losses, Sorella Labs is developing two tools: Brontes and Angstrom, the former of which went live today. Thouvenin plans to expand the team by hiring MEV researchers, Rust developers, and systems engineers.
