Basenames, built on the open-source ENS protocol, is now live
On August 21st, according to the official announcement of Base, Basenames is now online, and users can obtain a unique base.eth username through the Dutch auction as their on-chain identity in the Base ecosystem. The auction price will gradually decrease within 36 hours to ensure fair competition.
Basenames is built on the open-source ENS protocol to simplify transactions, facilitate collaboration, and enhance on-chain connectivity between users. In addition, early Base Name Service (BNS) users will enjoy special discounts upon registration.
