According to CryptoQuant disclosure data, the TON main chain DAU addresses hit an all-time high of 946, an increase of more than sevenfold since July 2021. The record high number of active addresses has several implications, such as increased network activity, more customer engagement, which leads to more transactions; network growth, the ecosystem is expanding with the emergence of more dApps and working chains; economic impact, with the increase in network usage, the demand for TON tokens increases. At first glance, 946 daily active addresses may not seem like much, but this number only applies to the main chain. The TON architecture relies on various side chains (called working chains) to manage most of the data. The main role of the main chain is to coordinate message routing and transaction execution, rather than directly processing most of the data. Overall, this is a rather healthy growth for the TON blockchain.
