The author of "Avalanche" has partnered with special effects company Wåtá Workshop to launch the meta-universe project Artefact.
"Avalanche" author Neal Stephenson has teamed up with his co-creator, blockchain platform Lamina1, to launch the meta-universe project Artefact, along with WātāWorkshop, the special effects company behind films like "Lord of the Rings" and "Avatar."
It is reported that the new project aims to develop intellectual property (IP) for a blockchain-powered meta-universe. The platform is also planned to include features such as digital item ownership, exploration mechanisms, co-creation opportunities, and artificial intelligence-driven tool integration.
