Artela Network: The Discord community has been hacked, and no users have been hacked yet
Parallel EVM Layer 1 public chain Artela Network announced that its Discord community was hacked and posted misinformation about token airdrops, linking to a malicious website. The Artela Network team quickly blocked the attack within half an hour of the incident and fully restored Discord within two hours. There are no reports of user victimization so far; please be sure to use the following official link to confirm the authenticity before clicking on any link.
As Artela Network approaches the mainnet launch and token generation event (TGE), it is likely to encounter more such hacks. The team will continue to review and strengthen internal security measures, and has established a presence at Discord#Community-security channel, as an official channel for future reporting of security issues and hacking attacks. Industry practitioners and community members are also called upon to remain vigilant and not to click on unknown links or authorize unofficial software tools at will.
As an official reminder, Artela Network has not yet launched any airdrops. Please follow the latest developments of Artela through the official link above to get the correct information.
