Sun Yuchen said that regardless of the judicial outcome, Telegram is crucial to the freedom and privacy of communication for billions of people. He hopes that Durov can regain his freedom in a legal way as soon as possible and ensure that user rights are protected in a compliance manner. Sun further suggested that the cryptocurrency industry should come together and organize a group called#FreePavel's decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to help Telegram founder Pavel Durov legally become free. He promised to donate $1 million if the DAO was created in a decentralized way and received enough community support.
