Primitive Ventures founder: When Vitalik himself was publicly challenged, he was more optimistic about ETH
On August 26th, Dovey Wan, founding partner of Primitive Ventures, posted on the X platform that the success of Ethereum stems from its strong "higher church" and several powerful "countries" around it, as well as those intellectual leaders who are truly actively involved. Dovey Wan pointed out that although this process may be painful, it is necessary for the formation of a more decentralized and resilient technology stack, design standards, human capital and intellectual capital network. She believes that similar to the separation of church and state and the Enlightenment in history, the Ethereum ecosystem will become stronger by decentralizing power and embracing diverse ideas. New developers may prioritize pragmatic development over political alignment, similar to the rise of DeFi Summer. Dovey Wan also said that when "higher church" people and even Vitalik himself were publicly challenged, she was more optimistic about ETH.
