French prosecutors said Telegram CEO Pavel Durov could be released as early as Wednesday local time. Prosecutors said Pavel Durov had not been formally charged. Instead, his detention was part of an investigation stemming from crimes allegedly orchestrated or spread on Telegram, including money laundering, drug trafficking, child pornography and failure to cooperate with law enforcement.
