US Congressman Mike Collins Reveals His Investments in AERO, GRT, and VELO This Year
On August 28th, it was reported that Mike Collins, who has served as the representative of Georgia's 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2023, disclosed three investments in counterfeit products during his tenure in Congress. In his financial disclosure report filed between July and August, Congressman Collins revealed that he purchased $15,000 worth of Velodrome (VELO), $15,000 worth of TheGraph (GRT), and $115,000 worth of Aerodrome Finance (AERO). The same disclosure revealed that the U.S. Congressman partially sold his AERO holdings on August 4th, followed by an additional purchase of $15,001 to $50,000 worth of AERO on August 5th.
The document indicates that Congressman Collins is one of the few members of the U.S. Congress actively trading in smaller tokens, a departure from the trading behavior of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, in January of this year, Collins also revealed that he had purchased $65,000 worth of Ethereum.
