According to DigitalAsset, the CEO of South Korean virtual asset hosting company Haru Invest (referred to as "Haru") was attacked with a murder weapon in court. The incident took place at around 14:20 local time on August 28, at the scene of the 8th public trial of the 15th Criminal Division (Minister Judge Liang Huansheng) of the South Seoul District Court. According to reports, a male perpetrator in his 40s suddenly got up in the courtroom gallery and stabbed Haru CEO in the neck with a short knife about 5 cm long hidden in his clothes multiple times.
