Lemniscap raises $70 million to support Web3 project
Venture capital firm Lemniscap has announced $70 million in funding to support early-stage Web3 startups. The fund will invest in multiple blockchain areas, including zero-knowledge proof infrastructure, consumer applications, emerging Bitcoin ecosystems, security and decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN).
Lemniscap has invested in over 130 Web3 projects since its inception in 2017, including well-known agreements such as Avalanche, Fairblock, Celestia, and others. The company emphasizes long-term success over short-term gains, providing funding and strategic guidance to start-up companies in its portfolio.
The fund is managed by New York-based venture capital firm Accolade Partners, which raised more than $1 billion for three funds earlier this year.
