Cosmos Hub Launches Proposal for Third-Party Auditing of Permissionless ICS
Cosmos Hub, a cross-chain service provider, has released a new proposal called "Permissionless ICS Third-Party Auditing," in which Zellic is commissioned by Simply Staking to conduct a third-party security audit of permissionless ICS functionality. The proposal aims to use community funding pool funds to audit permissionless ICS functionality that allows anyone to create an opt-in consumer chain. The audit will be conducted by well-known security firm Zellic with a total budget of approximately $121,500 (approximately 24,850 ATOM), which includes multi-signature fees for Simply Staking to coordinate the audit and handle the transfer of funds. All remaining funds will be returned to the community funding pool.
