DePIN project Spacecoin plans to launch satellites
On September 4th, according to Decrypt, the DePIN project Spacecoin plans to provide high-speed internet services to underdeveloped regions by launching nano-satellites. The project is supported by US military generals, lunar scientists, NASA astronauts, and blockchain industry experts.
Spacecoin will use blockchain technology to manage data transmission, and users can use cryptocurrency to pay for the network. The first satellite, CTC-0, is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2024, with the goal of establishing a global 5G network at a lower cost and helping to bridge the digital divide.
