Daniel Howard, son of British hedge fund billionaire Alan Howard, and partner Bhavin Vaid have announced the creation of crypto venture capital fund Halo Capital, which has raised $25 million and aims to bring the growth investor mindset to early-stage crypto projects.
Headquartered in New York, Halo Capital has a wide range of investments, covering a wide range of fields from bitcoin to decentralized artificial intelligence. The fund has invested in projects such as Bima Labs and Andrena, and has brought in about 20 partners to provide professional advice. Both founders have extensive crypto investment experience, and both previously worked at 10T Holdings, a private equity firm specializing in cryptocurrencies. They started fundraising in March 2024 and officially launched the fund in June. Currently, Halo Capital has invested in several projects, including Bima Labs and Andrena, but the specific amount of investment has not been disclosed.
