Trump promises to embrace "industries of the future" such as cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence
In a public speech at the Economic Club of New York on Thursday, Donald Trump reiterated that if re-elected president he would make the US the cryptocurrency capital of the world and embrace "industries of the future" such as cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence, saying: "We will not attack the industries of the future, we will embrace them, including making the US the world capital of cryptocurrency and bitcoin."
In an hour-long speech, Mr. Trump laid out his plans to overhaul the US economy after his re-election, including slashing regulations and boosting domestic energy production. He also said he would follow the advice of Elon Musk and offer to lead a government efficiency commission to audit federal spending and identify waste.
