141st Ethereum ACDC Conference: PeerDAS Devnet 2 Expected to Refactor on the Basis of Pectra Upgrade
On September 6th, Christine Kim, Vice President of Research at Galaxy, posted a summary of the 141st Ethereum Core Developer Consensus (ACDC) conference call. This week, developers discussed changes to the Ethereum Consensus Layer (CL), various updates to the consensus layer specification and engine API in the Pectra upgrade (including EIP7251 and Beacon block body, etc.), and how to solve the problem of proof computation for resource-constrained node operators (mainly Home Staker) in PeerDAS. PeerDAS Devnet2 is expected to be rebuilt on top of the Pectra upgrade, not Deneb.
