Nvidia's actual volatility indicator over the past 30 days has risen to around 80, which is about twice that of Bitcoin

According to Bloomberg, Nvidia's volatility is dwarfing that of its other "Big Seven" peers, and even Bitcoin looks like a haven of calm by comparison. Over the past 30 trading days, Nvidia's stock price has fluctuated wildly between $90.69 and $131.26, according to market data. This level of volatility has pushed its actual volatility metric over the past 30 days to around 80, roughly four times that of Microsoft, twice that of Bitcoin, and higher than Trump's media companies and a string of meme stocks. Of course, even with the recent decline, Nvidia has still delivered a handsome return to investors so far this year. The stock is still up more than 100% this year, adding about $1.30 trillion to its market value.
