Jupiter will provide a one-time grant of $25,000 to help the working group obtain better equipment
In response to the Jupiter Adjustment Working Group proposal, Jupiter co-founder Meow wrote on the X platform to express his disapproval, because it is a bit like half-heartedly succumbing to criticism, and does not even really address the core issues raised by the critics. Just by reducing equipment requirements without getting the ideal equipment to make the best thing, does not show belief in what is needed. Meow gives the following advice:
1) Remove the device requirement from the proposal entirely, without distracting from the more important point of voting - does the community trust you to represent them? This is very important and distraction is not recommended.
2) Extend the trial until January and increase the budget to bring in or incentivize more short-film producers - more will certainly be needed given the volume of filming planned. This provides more time and leverage for a unanimous vote, and may involve more interests.
3) Now, using existing equipment, the working group is not interviewing Taylor Swift, but rather people like Kash, who, while personally liking him, seriously doesn't need that kind of top-notch stuff for his face.
Meow said he would not hesitate to offer a one-time grant of $25,000 to give the team the best equipment they could ever dream of, and to make the community look as good as possible without the weirdness of "returning the equipment to the DAO". Meow added that this, in turn, was the best investment he could make because his primary concern was to show the world how great the Jupiter community members were.
