SEC chairperson comments on whether the CFTC is suitable for regulating cryptocurrencies: the CFTC has not yet established an adequate information disclosure system

According to Fox correspondent Eleanor Terrett, during Thursday's budget hearing, Senator Durbin asked Gary Gensler, chairperson of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), whether he thought the CFTC had enough resources to regulate cryptocurrencies. Gensler said it "depends on what resources they get. The CFTC has not yet established a disclosure system like the SEC."
