Shandong police crack an "investment virtual currency" fraud case, two alleged offenders arrested

After investigation, the police learned that Ms. Cui added a "friend" on the Douyin app, and the "friend" told her that investing in virtual currency could get high returns. Ms. Cui believed it and transferred a total of 340,000 yuan and was blocked by "friends".
The police analyzed and judged according to the relevant account numbers, transfer records and other clues provided by Ms. Cui, looking for a breakthrough in the case, and successfully locked the identity of the suspects as Li and Yang. After further analysis and judgment, the police found the activity tracks of the two alleged offenders. At 8 o'clock that night, the police quickly attacked and arrested the two near the Cultural Square.
After interrogation, the alleged offenders Li and Yang confessed to the fact that they posted false investment information online to commit fraud. At present, the alleged offenders Li (male, 22 years old) and Yang (male, 27 years old) have been criminally detained according to law, and the case is under further investigation.
