Penpie: Deposits and withdrawals will resume after a full audit, and discussions on a potential compensation plan will begin soon
On September 11, Penpie said that deposits and withdrawals on Penpie remain suspended as the platform is undergoing a full audit by multiple security firms to ensure safe resumption of operations. BlockSec, PeckShield, and AstraSec have initiated audits, and Penpie is in discussions with other companies. Deposits and withdrawals are expected to resume in about two or three weeks until these audits are successfully completed. Penpie will also be working with Hexagate to integrate real-time monitoring and establish an efficient, proactive response system. Penpie continues to work closely with law enforcement, security firms, partners, and key members of the crypto community, including major exchanges, to track down, freeze, and freeze funds associated with the hack. In addition, Penpie is taking steps to prepare a post on the Penpie Governance Forum to discuss a potential compensation plan.
Previously, it was reported that on September 4, Penpie was hacked, and a total of 11,113.6 ETH was stolen, worth about $27.34 million.
