Deutsche Bank forecasts that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates six times through September next year
Stefanie Holtze-Jen, Singapore-based chief investment officer for Asia Pacific at Deutsche Bank's private banking arm, said the Fed was likely to start a rate-cutting cycle next week, with a total of six cuts expected in the year to September 2025, fewer than the roughly nine traders had priced in. In addition, the European lender warned that mispricing the Fed's rate-cutting outlook could trigger a bout of market volatility.
