Founder of AllianceDAO: Invested in Pump.fun founder because of his high "autistic traits"
On September 12th, Qiao Wang, founder of AllianceDAO, shared their unique perspective on investing in and incubating Pump.fun in an interview. Qiao emphasized that when investing in client products in the early stage, investment decisions are more based on the judgment of the founder, rather than the project concept itself.
Qiao says he sees a high degree of "autistic traits" in Pump.fun founders. "Autistic traits allow founders to think independently and see the world in an anti-mainstream way, free from the pervasive views on the internet," he explains.
According to Qiao, successful cryptocurrency founders need to possess two key characteristics: the ability to think (stemming from autistic traits) and the drive to act (stemming from childhood trauma). This unique combination, he believes, is central to driving innovation and project success. Although difficult to detect in early meetings, childhood trauma is often what drives founders forward, giving them a strong desire to "prove themselves". Qiao's admission that he also has a degree of "autistic traits" may explain his unique vision in investment decisions.
