CleanSpark buys two bitcoin mining farms in Mississippi for $5.775 million
CleanSpark announced on Tuesday that it has acquired two bitcoin mining farms and related land near Clinton, Mississippi. The total purchase price of these acquisitions is $5.775 million and will support a total of 16.50 trillion watts of power, the press release said.
The site will be delivered to CleanSpark on a turnkey basis with an estimated completion date of December 1. The site will house S21 pro miners and is expected to have a total operating hash rate of approximately 1 EH/s. The addition of these farms will bring CleanSpark's Mississippi data center portfolio to 60.5 MW.
Less than a week ago, the bitcoin miner announced that it would acquire seven mining facilities and associated land in Knoxville, Tennessee, for $27.50 million.
