On September 19, Andre Geest, Vice President of Growth at Safe, said at the Abstract Summit today that one of the most exciting advancements is EIP-7702. The proposal allows externally owned accounts (EOAs) to temporarily act as smart contract wallets in a single transaction by introducing a new transaction type. Geest pointed out that it is difficult to change user behavior, so upgrading the existing system has become the most convenient option, which also means that users can continue to use their current wallet address without the need for complex migration operations.
