On September 24th, Bitcoin Rollup Citrea announced that it has deployed its BitVM bridge Clementine on the Bitcoin testnet, a computing paradigm designed to allow Ethereum-style smart contracts to be implemented on Bitcoin, and could also pave the way for zero-knowledge computing, with the goal of using Bitcoin as a settlement layer to make it "the foundation of world finance".
