JPMorgan Chase CEO Dimon: Fed cut interest rates by 50 basis points may be the right choice
Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan Chase, was cautious about a soft landing for the US economy and said the Fed was doing the right thing by cutting interest rates. "A 50 basis point cut could be the right thing to do," he said. "But Dimon expressed scepticism about the US economy and its market pricing, saying:" I'm a long-term optimist, but in the short term I'm more sceptical of people who say everything will be fine. Market pricing says everything will be fine. Let me be on the cautious side. "
