Nansen Chief Research Analyst: Recommendations to cut cryptocurrency holdings when the market rebounds
Aurelie Barthere, principal research analyst at blockchain analytics firm Nansen, said in a note that the Fed's decision to cut rates only "met market expectations" and that many of the additional "gains" were already being reflected in riskier assets.
"It makes sense to maintain cryptocurrency allocations or participate in them, as the Federal Reserve has just injected more energy into this bull market," Barthere said. "But there is already a lot in the price of risky assets, and given the downside asymmetric risks, the safer strategy is to reduce crypto holdings when the market rallies."
