CNBC: Musk is expected to attend Trump's campaign rally at the site of the "attempted assassination"
According to CNBC, Donald Trump will hold a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which was the site of his July 13 rally when a gunman opened fire in an attempt to assassinate the Republican presidential candidate, causing chaos.
Elon Musk, Tesla's chief executive and Mr. Trump's new ally, is expected to attend the rally, as Mr. Musk formally endorsed Mr. Trump within hours of the attempted Butler assassination, marking a marked shift in their previously adversarial relationship.
Trump's running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, will also give an opening speech.
