The US government is suspected of being free to sell 69,370 bitcoins confiscated by Silk Road
According to Lookonchain, the US government appears to be free to sell the 69,370 BTC seized by Silk Road after the US Supreme Court on October 7 refused to hear a case by Battle Born Investments over ownership of the 69,370 BTC (~ $4.33 billion) seized from Silk Road, giving the government full control over the seized funds. The last time the US government moved BTC was 2 months ago, when it moved 29,800 BTC (~ $2.02 billion), of which 10,000 BTC (~ $594 million) were transferred to CoinbasePrime.
