Economists nominate Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin for the Nobel Prize in Economics
Renowned economists Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabarrok recently proposed in a podcast that Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin should be a strong candidate for the Nobel Prize in Economics.
Mr. Cowen praised Vitalik for his significant contribution to the economics of cryptocurrencies, saying his achievements far exceeded those of other economists. "Vitalik has built a platform and created a currency that arguably refutes Mises' regression theorem," he said. "Although he is building on Satoshi Nakamoto, his achievements are certainly Nobel Prize-worthy."
