Judge rejects former FTX executive Ryan Salame's request to delay jail time until December
Former FTX executive Ryan Salame has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for offences relating to the FTX collapse. He must go to jail on October 11 and Judge Lewis Kaplan rejected his request to have his jail time postponed until December. Salame claimed the extension was needed for medical reasons and the judge said the jail could provide the necessary medical services. Salame became the second executive to go to jail for the FTX case and former CEO SBF has been sentenced to 25 years.
