On October 16th, the Ethereum Foundation announced that the second Translatathon Translatathon has ended. Compared to 2023, the number of active translators in 2024 increased from 217 to 327 (an increase of 50%), the number of translated words increased from 1.47 million to 2.53 million (an increase of 70%), and the number of translated languages increased from 56 to 70 (an increase of 25%). The Ethereum Foundation has awarded $30,000 to 189 eligible participants, and the top 10 translators also received Devcon tickets and discounts. In addition, the Ethereum Foundation has created the ETH glossary ETHGlossary, which will continue to be iterated thereafter.
