Hong Kong Cyberport community start-ups have raised HK $3.70 billion in the past year, with a cumulative total of over HK $41.20 billion
According to the data disclosed by Hong Kong media, the Hong Kong Cyberport community startups still had a strong financing performance in the past year. In the year ended September 2024, Cyberport startups successfully raised more than HK $3.70 billion in funds, an increase of 23% year-on-year. Cyberport companies that have recently completed high financing include KLOOK, Leapstack, Buy & ship, MediConCen, DeBox, etc. The cumulative total amount of financing exceeded HK $41.20 billion. During the year, HashKey Group, the second licensed virtual asset trading platform in Hong Kong, became the eighth unicorn enterprise in Cyberport, reflecting the application potential of Web3.0 technology to attract investor support and the continued success of Cyberport in promoting the development of the Web3.0 industry.
