The US court has extended the deadline for Ripple to file confirmations and appearance notice forms related to the SEC lawsuit by 14 days
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit issued a notice of default to Ripple's legal team earlier today on the grounds that Ripple missed the deadline to file a Confirmation and Notice of Appearance Form related to the SEC lawsuit, which was due on October 18, 2024. The court has granted Ripple a 14-day extension, giving the team until November 1, 2024 to file the required documents.
If Ripple's lawyers fail to complete the filing by this new deadline, they could be barred from presenting their arguments at an upcoming appeal hearing without special court permission.
