On-chain domain name service D3 Global announced the launch of Ape Names on ApeChain. The launch of Ape Names Domain Name Service is part of the previous ApeCoin DAO Community Proposal AIP-395 to promote ICANN applications for .APE domains, allowing users to purchase and use patent-pending Ape Names as instant Web3 identifiers. It is reported that domains will be minted on ApeChain. After approval by ICANN, D3 will grant .APE domains to Ape Names reserved token holders and then offer them for sale to the public.
