According to the official account of the Changzhou Economic Development District Procuratorate, an employee of a company in Changzhou was addicted to speculating in virtual currencies after being exposed to a kind of virtual currency called KK coin. In order to raise capital, he fabricated reasons to defraud more than 1.97 million yuan from 16 colleagues, which was used for virtual currency trading on online gambling platforms. The Changzhou Economic Development District Procuratorate filed a public prosecution.
