Peter Todd: Not in hiding after being accused of being Satoshi Nakamoto, but taking "safety measures"
Peter Todd said Friday that the recent allegations that he was the pseudonymous bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto in a new HBO documentary forced him to further defend himself.
"I've taken some security measures," Todd said. "But it's not a good idea to say publicly what exactly I did. It's better to keep the bad guys guessing." Todd added that he's certainly not hiding, or as a recent Wired story suggested. In fact, Todd attended the Bitcoin conference today in Lugano, Switzerland, where a statue honoring Satoshi Nakamoto was unveiled, and he also said he plans to speak at five other events around the world in the coming weeks.
